Job summary

Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy assessments and interventions across Trust sites, within a supportive academic environment linked to Northumbria University.

Essential criteria include a recognised SLT degree, HCPC licence to practise, and RC S< registration.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
• HCPC Licence to Practice in good standing.
• Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

Responsibilities

• The post holder will work across sites within the Trust.
• Provide evidence-based SLT assessment and intervention as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy

HCPC Licence to Practice

Registered with RC Speech and Language Therapists

Essential Criteria

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
• Health and Care Professions Council - Licence to Practice
• Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
• Car driver

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience of working within the Paediatric SLT field
• Experience of working in partnership with Education and Early Years partners

The post holder will be required to work at sites across the Trust.
