Job summary

Service Care Solutions is seeking an ambitious Speech and Language Therapist to join its friendly multidisciplinary team in Greater London, delivering interventions across mainstream schools in Hillingdon, Uxbridge and Isleworth.

You’ll develop your clinical career, work with education professionals, provide staff training and supervision, and help create communication-friendly environments that improve outcomes for children and young people.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist with experience working with children and young people.
• Experience providing supervision and/or professional/clinical training.
• Experience in education settings or schools is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted speech and language therapy interventions.
• Develop individualised therapy programmes and pupil-centred plans.
• Collaborate with SENCOs and school staff to implement universal communication strategies.
• Provide training, coaching and workforce development to education teams.
• Work with families, teachers and other professionals accordingly.
• Model therapeutic approaches and support their integration into daily practice.
• Help key adults develop skills to support pupils' communication needs.
• Join a multidisciplinary team across a range of educational settings.
• Support a graduated approach in line with SEND Code of Practice.

The Opportunity

Our Client delivers specialist therapeutic and assessment services to children, young people and families, working closely with schools, families and other professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you’ll primarily work across mainstream schools in Hillingdon, Uxbridge and Isleworth, delivering high-quality interventions and helping schools create communication-friendly environments.

You’ll have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a varied role that combines direct intervention, staff training, consultation, supervision and multidisciplinary working.

What You'll Be Doing

Your role will include:

• Delivering targeted speech and language therapy interventions.

What We're Looking For

We’re keen to speak with qualified and HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapists who have experience working with children and young people, particularly within education or similar environments.

You’ll ideally bring:

• A BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience working with children and young people in a relevant setting.
• Experience providing professional and/or clinical supervision.
• Experience developing and delivering training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The confidence to build strong relationships with schools, families and other professionals.
• A collaborative, creative and child-centred approach.
