Are you a passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people? We're recruiting for a dedicated and experienced therapist to join a supportive multidisciplinary team in Bexley.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within schools and early years settings across Bexley, delivering specialist speech and language support to children with a range of communication needs.
You'll work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and families to develop individualised therapy plans and support strategies that promote communication development and access to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication difficulties
Develop and deliver individual and group therapy sessions
Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and carers to support pupils' communication goals
Contribute to EHCPs and provide written reports
Deliver training and guidance to school staff
Requirements:
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registration
RCSLT membership (desirable)
Experience working with children and young people in educational settings
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A proactive, flexible, and compassionate approach
