We are currently looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Chigwell, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will be working in a 22-bed service that delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions, specialising in neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy, and ventilator care.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech & Language Therapist:

• Demonstrate specialist skills in managing complex cases, considering cultural and linguistic differences, and developing appropriate strategies for caseload management.
• Undertake audits and contribute to research in treatment provision.
• Possess specialist knowledge in acquired communication and swallowing disorders.

What we are looking for in a Speech & Language Therapist:

• HCPC registration
• Experience managing caseloads involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia
• Experience working with families
