Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 at a specialist SEN school in Stockport. You will work closely with teachers and Speech and Language Therapists to develop students' communication skills within a nurturing environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with SEND, particularly autism and communication needs, and a passion for helping young people reach their potential.

Are you passionate about supporting young people with communication and interaction needs? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a specialist SEN school in Stockport that caters for pupils aged 11-16 and is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This rewarding role involves supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), and associated learning difficulties. Working closely with teaching staff and Speech and Language Therapists, you will help students develop their communication skills, confidence and independence both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with speech, language and communication needs.
