Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a specialist SEN school in Stockport to recruit a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils aged 11-16 with SEND, including autism and SLCN, under supervision of teachers and therapists.

You will help implement SLT programmes, develop communication skills, and promote independence in and out of class while contributing to a nurturing learning environment. Immediate start available and long-term, full-time role.

Are you passionate about supporting young people with communication and interaction needs?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a specialist SEN school in Stockport that caters for pupils aged 11-16 and is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This rewarding role involves supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), and associated learning difficulties. Working closely with teaching staff and Speech and Language Therapists, you will help students develop their communication skills, confidence and independence both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Role
