Job summary

Viridiengroup in Crawley is seeking a Spectral Geologist to interpret hyperspectral data and deliver integrated geology products. You will contribute to high-quality reports and collaborate across the Satellite Mapping team in a hybrid role based at our Crawley office.

The ideal candidate holds an MSc in Geology or Remote Sensing with 2–3 years of relevant commercial experience and strong Python scripting skills for batch processing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geology or Remote Sensing.
• 2–3 years of relevant commercial experience.
• Strong understanding of spectral geology and workflows.
• Experience interpreting hyperspectral imagery.

Responsibilities

• Interpret hyperspectral imagery and derive products.
• Create data products and comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate with team to integrate results across disciplines.
• Support business development via client interactions and presentations.
