Job summary

Viridien Crawley-based team hosts a role for a geologist specializing in spectral geology, conducting interpretation from satellite datasets and delivering data products and reports across environmental, oil & gas, and minerals markets.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Geology team, contribute to business development, and support integrated workflows while enjoying a hybrid work model at our Crawley office.

Qualifications

• MSc in Geology, Remote Sensing, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in a commercial role.
• Robust understanding of spectral geology principles and workflows.
• Experience interpreting hyperspectral imagery and derived products.
• Proficiency with industry-standard image processing packages.

You will also support the Geology team by taking on additional tasks as needed and will play a key part in business development by promoting our spectral geology services through client presentations and interactions.About the TeamYou will be part of the Satellite Mapping group, based in our Crawley office, within the Geological Remote Sensing team.
