Viridien Crawley-based team hosts a role for a geologist specializing in spectral geology, conducting interpretation from satellite datasets and delivering data products and reports across environmental, oil & gas, and minerals markets.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Geology team, contribute to business development, and support integrated workflows while enjoying a hybrid work model at our Crawley office.

Qualifications

• MSc in Geology, Remote Sensing, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in a commercial role.
• Robust understanding of spectral geology principles and workflows.
• Experience interpreting hyperspectral imagery and derived products.
• Proficiency with industry-standard image processing packages.

Responsibilities

• Perform geological interpretation using satellite remote-sensing datasets.
• Create and contribute to high-quality data products and reports.
• Collaborate closely with team to ensure seamless integration of results across disciplines.
• Support business development by promoting spectral geology services through client presentations.
