Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. is looking for a Specification Sales Manager to cover the Midlands or South region.

You will secure project specifications for social housing and light commercial projects, working with M&E contractors, housing associations and local authorities to promote a broad range of electrical products. You will deliver CPDs, build relationships with decision-makers and drive opportunities across refurbishment and new-build projects, guiding them through wholesale channels from design

Qualifications

• Experience selling electrical products through specification channels.
• Background working with social housing, local authorities, housing associations or M&E contractors.
• Warranty of knowledge in switchgear, consumer units, protection devices or related electrical products advantageous.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at multiple levels.

Salary: GBP64000 - GBP70000 per annum

THE ROLE:

As a Specification Sales Manager, you will be responsible for securing product specifications across social housing and light commercial projects. Working closely with M&E contractors, consultants, housing associations, and local authorities, you will drive demand for a broad range of single & three-phase electrical distribution products including consumer units, distribution boards, circuit protection, EV points and energy meters.

The focus of the role is to gain specification at the front-end and ensure projects are delivered through established wholesale channels. You will deliver CPD presentations, develop relationships with key decision-makers, and identify new opportunities across refurbishment and new-build projects within your territory.

LOCATION:

Field-based role covering either the Midlands or South region. Candidates located across the Midlands or Southern England will be considered.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience selling electrical products through specification channels
• Background working with social housing, local authorities, housing associations or M&E contractors
• Knowledge of switchgear, consumer units, control panels, circuit protection or related electrical products advantageous
• Strong relationship-building and presentation skills
• Comfortable delivering CPDs and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
• Full UK driving licence

• £64,000 - £70,000 basic salary DOE
