Job summary

Crown Paints is seeking a Contractor & Specification Sales Manager to cover South West England and Wales. You will promote Crown trade brands and related products through a field-based sales approach to contractors, housing associations and councils.

You will implement promotional strategies, drive regional promotions, and manage key accounts while developing new opportunities with a focus on technical specifications and project-level requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous B2B field sales experience within a construction/trades context.
• Strong specification and technical communication skills.
• Proven influencing and negotiation abilities with margin focus.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Holding a valid driving licence with access to a company car.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and implement National promotional strategy and measure own performance/effectiveness.
• Drive regional promotions to give the territory a competitive advantage.
• Strategically develop nominated accounts to increase sustainable profitable sales growth.
• Manage nominated accounts and clients.
• Identify, develop and manage new opportunities.
• Identification of key strategic clients for development.
• Management of secured business and implementation of tailored specification support packages including site condition surveys.
• Produce highly detailed technical specifications.
