Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a Specialty Doctor in Microbiology for a permanent post in Manchester. The role involves joining a team of five Consultant Medical Microbiologists to deliver clinical microbiology services, antimicrobial management and infection prevention for the NHS Trust and surrounding services.

It is a full-time role (10 PAs) with CESR support available. Applicants must have GMC registration or be eligible within six months.

Qualifications

• Must have GMC registration or be eligible to join within 6 months.
• CESR pathway support offered for GMC specialist registration.
• Experience in clinical microbiology and antimicrobial management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of Consultant Medical Microbiologists.
• Provide clinical microbiology services, antimicrobial management and infection prevention/control for the Trust, GPs and service users.
