Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a Specialty Doctor in Microbiology for a permanent post in Manchester. The role involves joining a team of five Consultant Medical Microbiologists to deliver clinical microbiology services, antimicrobial management and infection prevention for the NHS Trust and surrounding services.

It is a full-time role (10 PAs) with CESR support available. Applicants must have GMC registration or be eligible within six months.

Qualifications

• Must have GMC registration or be eligible to join within 6 months.
• CESR pathway support offered for GMC specialist registration.
• Experience in clinical microbiology and antimicrobial management is desirable.

Responsibilities

Rate: £55,825 to £90,000 a year pro rata per annum

We're working with a large NHS Trust in Manchester who are looking for a Specialty Doctor in Microbiology to join them on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will work as part of a team of five Consultant Medical Microbiologists across providing clinical medical microbiology, antimicrobial management and infection prevention and control services for the Trust, surrounding GPs and wider service users.

This is a full time (10 PA)and is an excellent opportunity for somebody wanting to pursue the CESR pathway.

CESR support can be offered to applicants wanting to pursue this pathway to GMC-specialist registration.
