About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is perfect for a hands-on individual who thrives in racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will influence our performance and autonomous motorsports development.

The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel for testing and racing events. Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends is required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Management: Lead setup, maintenance, and track-side operations of autonomous race cars and electric vehicles.
2. Mechanical Tasks: Conduct disassembly, inspection, optimization, and reassembly to ensure peak performance and safety.
3. Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops and setup adjustments.
4. Logistics: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, working with the Technical Director.
5. Workshop Management: Maintain an organized, efficient workshop environment for vehicle prep and maintenance.
6. Safety: Adhere to safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Mechanical Knowledge: Expertise in high-performance vehicle systems, suspension, tires, and optimization.
2. Electronics: Basic knowledge of electronic systems like steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire, with MoTeC experience.
3. Experience: Minimum 3 years in professional racing environments, demonstrating motorsport understanding.
4. Education: Diploma or certification in automotive, mechanical engineering, or related field.
