About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our ambitious team. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives in the high-energy world of racing and embraces autonomous vehicle technology challenges. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and the evolution of autonomous motorsports.

The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel for testing sessions and racing events. Flexibility, including occasional evening and weekend work, is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Vehicle Management: Lead setup, maintenance, and track-side operations of elite autonomous race cars and high-performance electric vehicles.
  2. Mechanical Excellence: Perform precise mechanical maintenance, including disassembly, inspection, optimization, and reassembly, ensuring safety and performance standards.
  3. Dynamic Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops, fueling, and real-time adjustments.
  4. Logistics Coordination: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, collaborating with the Technical Director.
  5. Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized and efficient workshop environment for vehicle prep and maintenance.
  6. Safety Stewardship: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Mastery: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension tuning, tire management, and optimization.
  • Electronics Competency: Understanding of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and MoTeC systems.
  • Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a professional racing environment.
  • Technical Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive, mechanical engineering, or related field.
