About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our ambitious team. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives in the high-energy world of racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and the development of autonomous motorsports.
The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel to support testing sessions and racing events. Flexibility around work hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Dynamic Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops, fueling, and setup adjustments.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, collaborating with the Technical Director.
Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized and efficient workshop environment for vehicle prep and maintenance.
Safety Stewardship: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension tuning, tire management, and optimization.
Electronics Skills: Basic understanding of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and MoTeC systems.
Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a professional racing environment.
Technical Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering or related field.
Adaptability and Innovation: Interest in autonomous driving tech and eagerness to learn and innovate.
Teamwork and Communication: Strong team player with good communication skills.
Drivers License: Valid driver's license required.
