About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is perfect for a hands-on individual who thrives in the high-energy racing environment and is interested in autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will influence our performance on the track and advance autonomous motorsports.

The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel for testing and racing events. Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Management: Manage setup, maintenance, and track-side operations of autonomous race cars and electric vehicles.
  • Mechanical Maintenance: Perform disassembly, inspection, optimization, and reassembly to ensure safety and performance.
  • Track Operations: Handle vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops and setup adjustments.
  • Logistics: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, collaborating with the Technical Director.
  • Workshop Oversight: Maintain an organized and efficient workshop environment.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension, tire management, and tuning.
  • Electronics Knowledge: Understanding of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and MoTeC systems.
  • Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years in a professional racing environment.
  • Technical Education: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering.
  • Innovative Mindset: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation in racing.
  • Team Player: Good communication skills and collaborative attitude.
  • Driver's License: Valid license required.
