About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our ambitious team. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives in the high-energy world of racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and the evolution of autonomous motorsports.

The role is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel to support testing sessions and racing events. Flexibility around work schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vehicle Management: Lead setup, maintenance, and track-side operations of autonomous race cars and high-performance electric vehicles.
  2. Mechanical Excellence: Perform mechanical maintenance, disassembly, inspection, optimization, and reassembly to ensure peak performance and safety.

Dynamic Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops, fueling, and setup adjustments.

Logistics Coordination: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, collaborating with the Technical Director.

Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized workshop environment for vehicle prep and maintenance.

Safety Stewardship: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Mastery: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension tuning, tire management, and optimization.
  • Electronics Competency: Basic understanding of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire, with experience in MoTeC systems.
  • Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years of professional racing experience demonstrating capability in motorsport dynamics.
  • Technical Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Adaptable Mindset: Interest in autonomous driving tech and willingness to innovate.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License
