About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives in the high-energy world of racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and the development of autonomous motorsports.

The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel for testing and racing events. Flexibility in work schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Management: Lead setup, maintenance, and track-side operations of autonomous race cars and high-performance electric vehicles.
  • Mechanical Excellence: Perform mechanical maintenance, disassembly, inspection, optimization, and reassembly to ensure safety and performance.
  • Dynamic Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops and setup adjustments.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, collaborating with the Technical Director.
  • Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized workshop environment for vehicle prep and maintenance.
  • Safety Stewardship: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Mastery: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension tuning, tire management, and optimization.
  • Electronics Competency: Basic understanding of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire, with experience in MoTeC systems.
  • Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years in a professional racing environment, demonstrating capability in motorsport dynamics.
  • Technical Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • Adaptable Mindset: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation in racing environments.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License
