About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is perfect for a hands-on individual who thrives in the high-energy racing environment and is interested in autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and the development of autonomous motorsports.

The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel to support testing sessions and racing events. Flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Management: Lead setup, maintenance, and track-side operations of autonomous race cars and electric vehicles.
• Mechanical Tasks: Perform mechanical maintenance, disassembly, inspection, and reassembly to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops and real-time adjustments.

Logistics: Oversee transport logistics across Europe and internationally, collaborating with the Technical Director.

Workshop Maintenance: Maintain an organized workshop for vehicle prep and maintenance.

Safety: Follow safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension, tires, and tuning.
• Electronics Skills: Basic knowledge of electronic systems like steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and MoTeC systems.
• Experience: At least 3 years in a professional racing environment.
• Qualification: Diploma in automotive or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Mindset: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation.
• Teamwork: Good communication skills and collaborative attitude.
• License: Valid Driver's License.
