About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives in racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance and the development of autonomous motorsports.

The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel for testing and racing events. Flexibility for work schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Management: Setup, maintain, and operate autonomous race cars and high-performance electric vehicles.
  • Mechanical Maintenance: Perform disassembly, inspection, and reassembly to ensure safety and performance.

Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops and real-time adjustments.

Logistics: Coordinate vehicle transport across Europe and internationally, working with the Technical Director.

Workshop Management: Maintain an organized and efficient workshop environment.

Safety: Follow safety regulations, including flag protocols and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of vehicle systems, suspension, tires, and performance tuning.
  • Electronics: Basic understanding of electronic systems like steer-by-wire and MoTeC systems.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in professional racing environments.
  • Education: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering.
  • Adaptability: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation.
  • Teamwork: Good communication skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Driver's License: Valid license required.
