Vehicle Technician – Specialist Adapted Vehicles

Location: Avonmouth

Salary: £38'000 – £42'000 + 5% Bonus, plus training, excellent pension, 25 days holiday and bank holidays.

Founded over 100 years ago, the company supplies bespoke adapted vehicles worldwide and is investing in specialist technical training for its staff.

Role

• Individual training plan to gain competence in mechanical and electrical aspects of specialist vehicles.
• Carry out repair and planned service work.
• Diagnose service paths and keep customers fully updated.
• Work closely with the depot manager and controller.

Requirements

• Experience working on HGVs or other large vehicles – PCV, tankers, sweepers, military vehicles, etc.
• NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC or equivalent qualification at level 3.
• Mechanical and electrical skills.
• Self‑motivated with attention to detail and ability to work independently after training.
