Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is looking for a Vehicle Technician to specialize in adapted vehicles, based in Avonmouth. The role includes carrying out repairs, planned service work, and an individual training plan to develop mechanical and electrical skills.

Ideal candidates will have experience with HGVs or large vehicles and relevant qualifications. This position offers a salary between £38,000 and £42,000 plus a 5% bonus, training opportunities, excellent pension, and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

Role

• Individual training plan to gain competence in mechanical and electrical aspects of specialist vehicles.

Requirements

• Experience working on HGVs or other large vehicles – PCV, tankers, sweepers, military vehicles, etc.
• NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC or equivalent qualification at level 3.
• Mechanical and electrical skills.
• Self‑motivated with attention to detail and ability to work independently after training.
