Job summary

Oasis Academy Arena in London is seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprentice (Level 5) with HLTA to support pupils, deliver targeted SEND/SEMH interventions, and lead learning activities across lessons and enrichment.

You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, contribute to planning and assessment, monitor pupil progress and wellbeing, and benefit from a structured apprenticeship programme with progression opportunities within Oasis Community Learning.

• Experience or interest in SEND and SEMH.
• Willing to learn and progress within Oasis Community Learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in lessons, interventions and enrichment activities.
• Deliver targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs (SEND/SEMH).
• Lead learning activities for individuals, small groups and classes.
• Assist with planning, preparation and assessment.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and support plans.
• Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and inclusion.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and external professionals to improve outcomes.
