Job summary

Inspire EHC Ltd. is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. You will support pupils with complex learning needs, providing compassionate, consistent, hands-on assistance to help them achieve their potential.

Responsibilities include 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with personal care when needed, and collaborating with teachers and therapists to tailor lessons and maintain a safe, structured learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with ASD, PMLD and/or SLD.
• A patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• An understanding of safeguarding, inclusion and equal opportunities.
• An Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• Reliable access to Welwyn Garden City.

Pay: £85 £100 per day, including 12.07% holiday pay

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential? We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in the Welwyn Garden City area. The school supports pupils with a range of complex learning needs and is looking for someone who can provide compassionate, consistent and hands‑on support.

If you have experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), or Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), this could be an excellent opportunity to make a genuine difference every day.
