Academics are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Welwyn Garden City from October. The role involves supporting pupils with SEN, including ASD and speech and language needs, to help them build confidence and progress academically.

You will work alongside teachers, SENCOs, therapists and staff to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment and provide both in-class and one-to-one support to students.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Welwyn Garden City from October.

This SEN Teaching Assistant position in Welwyn Garden City offers invaluable experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder , speech and language needs, and other additional learning requirements. You will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning while supporting their confidence, independence, wellbeing, and academic development.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom-based support alongside tailored one-to-one interventions. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and wider school staff to create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
