Job description

Required as soon as possible: Specialist Teaching Assistant, 35 hours per week (8.30am to 4.00pm), Term time only to include some PD days, Scale 2, spinal column point 3.

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and inspiring Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a new class at our Specialist Resource Base, to work with Reception/Lower KS1 children with significant needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a provision that is committed to achievement for all its pupils and ongoing professional development for staff, and to make a real impact on pupils and their progress.

We are looking for candidates who:

  2. are committed to children enjoying and engaging in their learning
  3. are a team player with excellent communication skills and will demonstrate excellent working relationships with colleagues across school
  4. are committed to creating and maintaining effective partnerships with parents/carers, outside agencies and the community
