Compassionate Care is seeking a Specialist Support Worker to provide companionship and practical support for a female client living in Partington, Manchester. This role is offered with flexible contracts including full-time, part-time, and bank shifts, on a rolling rota with 2 on 2 off.

You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help engage the client in social and community activities, including outings and venues of interest.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with mental health, autism, or learning disabilities.
• A compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and patient approach to challenging behaviours.
• A strong commitment to promoting independence and quality of life.
• A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle (preferred, but not essential).

Specialist Support Worker Role

You will provide support and companionship to our female client inPartington, Manchester.

Client Profile:

Our client is a 44-year-old woman who resides independently in a bungalow in Partington. Despite hermild learning disability and autism, she is highly capable of managing daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care. However, herEUPDcan sometimes lead to unpredictable moods and verbal outbursts.

The client enjoys socializing and participating in activities such as going to the cinema, dining out, playing board games, and watching movies. While she may initially resist support, patience and trust-building are key to forming a positive relationship.

Working hours/pattern:

We have Full Time , Part Time and Bank contracts available.

You will be on a rolling rota 2 on 2 off on a 6-hour day shift at£13.40 an hour
