Job summary

Coleshill Day Centre in Llanelli is seeking a Specialist Support Worker to join the team. The role covers 18 hours per week across three days, with hours between 8:00 and 17:30, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities in building-based and community settings.

The post offers a fully paid induction, training, and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, generous annual leave, health and wellbeing support, and flexible working policies. Closing date 21/09/2026.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting individuals in building-based services and in the community.
  • Ability to engage in a range of therapeutic, fun and educational activities.
  • Basic conversational Welsh required; support provided to reach level.

If part time and/or term time, the full time salary quoted (based on 37hrs) will be pro-rata'd accordingly

Hourly Rate : £13.45 (Including Real Living Wage Supplement) - £13.69

We currently have a vacancy at Coleshill Day Centre in Llanelli for a Specialist Support Worker. This post will require staff to work 18 hrs a week over three days, with availability between the hours of 8:00 and 17:30.

Coleshill Day Centre provides care and support for individuals aged 18+ with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours of concern.

The post holder will contribute to a caring and enabling environment which promotes the dignity and independence of the individuals we support.

Applicants should have experience of supporting individuals in building-based services and in the community, taking part in a wide range of therapeutic, fun and educational activities.
