Aspire People are looking for a Specialist Support Practitioner to work in a vibrant, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment dedicated to supporting every child to reach their full potential. The role is based in Northfield, starting in May 2025, offering a full-time contract (5 days per week) with a salary of £90 - £100 per day.

The successful candidate will work closely with pupils across the school, providing targeted support for children with additional needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Global Developmental Delay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized intervention programs based on individual learning plans.
  • Collaborate with class teachers, SENCO, and external agencies.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress and contribute to review meetings.
  • Build positive relationships with children to support their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Provide structured support during class, small groups, or one-to-one sessions.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and global delay.
  • A warm, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
  • A proactive attitude and passion for inclusive education.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEND support (desirable).
