Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking Subject Specialist Tutors to support learners in Basingstoke and surrounding areas with personalised 1:1 tuition. You’ll work on behalf of Local Authorities to assist students needing alternative educational provision and tailored learning plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
• Experience teaching or supporting at least one curriculum subject
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally around Basingstoke and surrounding areas

Subject Specialist Tutor

We\'re looking for Subject Specialist Tutors across Basingstoke and the surrounding areas to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you\'ll support learners who require alternative educational provision and benefit from a tailored approach to learning. We welcome applications from tutors and education professionals with experience teaching any curriculum subject, whether that\'s English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, Art, Business Studies, Computing, or another specialist area.

Requirements
