Job summary

Thrive Tribe is expanding its Stop Smoking Services in County Durham and seeks a Specialist Stop Smoking Advisor to support clients living with severe mental illness. The role involves delivering both face-to-face and telephone cessation support, running clinics, and collaborating with local partners to establish referral pathways.

The role offers a permanent full-time contract, with a starting salary range of £26,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based interventions focusing on smoking cessation, behaviour change and psychological support.
• Run stop smoking clinics in community mental health settings or venues, one-to-one and group sessions.
• Develop engagement and marketing initiatives to help people with SMI access stop smoking support.
• Establish referral pathways with partner organisations to improve client uptake and meet targets.
• Ensure safe and excellent client experience in line with policies and governance.
