Job summary

Aspris Children's Services at Oliver House School in Chorley is seeking an experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to lead SaLT services for pupils with autism and complex needs.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, contribute to staff training and reflective practice, and travel between two schools to deliver bespoke assessments and interventions. HCPC registered with a relevant SaLT qualification is essential. This role offers rewarding development and DBS support.

Qualifications

• Recognised and relevant Speech and Language qualification.
• Registered with HCPC.
• Relevant SaLT experience working as a Therapist, including working with the specific client group or related field.
• Experience of representing speech and language therapy in the context of multi-disciplinary working and multi-agency treatment and care.
• Experience of reviewing and developing therapy standards, policies and procedures.
• Clear and concise report writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our young people.
• Contribute to staff training, consultation and reflective practice.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including other therapy and education professionals.
• Travel between two schools to provide services.
• Maintain clear, concise report writing.
