Service Care is recruiting a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to lead and support school-based SLT provision in the Hillingdon, Uxbridge and Isleworth area. The role focuses on delivering universal and targeted strategies, training school staff, and enabling inclusive education across mainstream settings.

The post requires HCPC registration, a qualifying SLT degree, and extensive experience supervising teams, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to high-quality clinical

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience working at a specialist level with children and young people.
• Extensive experience providing professional and clinical supervision.
• Extensive experience developing and delivering training.
• Experience implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions.
• Experience with complex communication needs and behaviours.
• Experience completing EHCPs.
• Experience working with paediatric social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Experience working with autism, ADHD or other neurodevelopmental needs.

Responsabilités

• Delivering staff training and consultation.
• Supporting schools with speech, language, communication and interaction needs.
• Advising on communication-supportive environments and inclusive classroom strategies.
• Supervising Speech and Language Therapists and Therapy Assistants.
• Supporting EHCP and ISP processes and annual reviews where required.
• Contributing to multidisciplinary intervention planning.
