Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd in Coventry is seeking an experienced Resource Base Teacher to join a mainstream primary school. The role is based in the school's resource base, supporting pupils with SEND and EHCPs.

You will plan differentiated lessons, lead small groups, implement EHCP targets, and collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external specialists. QTS and SEND experience are essential, with flexible hours if needed.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification required.
• Proven experience working with pupils with SEND is essential.
• Strong understanding of EHCP processes and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND.
• Lead small-group and individual teaching within the resource base.
• Implement and review EHCP/ISP targets based on progress.
• Adapt to national SEND reforms and evolving EHCP/ISP guidance.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants to maximise pupil progress.
• Monitor pupil progress and adjust teaching accordingly.
• Engage with parents, SENCO, and external specialists regularly.
• Contribute to SEND documentation and reviews.
