Job summary

The Children's Trust School is seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy for children and young people. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team and education services to assess needs and devise tailored therapy plans that fit daily routines.

Responsibilities include collaborative goal setting, facilitating participation in life skills, and supporting assistive technology assessments in school.

Qualifications

• Must be HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience delivering specialist pediatric occupational therapy.
• Ability to assess complex needs in children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy for children/young people.
• Develop individualized 24-hour OT programmes within daily routines for families and education teams.
• Support assessment and management of assistive technology needs in school settings.
