Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Band 5 Specialist School Nurse for Leatherhead, based at Woodlands School, term-time only. You will lead nursing care for children aged 2–19 with complex needs, provide training to staff, and support safeguarding and care planning within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• RGN or RSCN with child and/or learning disability experience.
• Experience working with children with additional needs.
• Knowledge of Child Protection policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, child-centred nursing care including management of medications, tracheostomy and PEG care.
• Assess health needs and contribute to safeguarding and multi-agency work.
• Develop and review personalised care plans with families.
