An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Podiatrist to join our specialist podiatry service in Warrington.
We are seeking a dynamic clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality podiatric care across a variety of settings, including community clinics and specialist Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU) services within the acute hospital environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assessment, treatment and management of patients with complex foot pathology, helping to improve outcomes and reduce the risk of complications and avoidable hospital admissions.

The post holder will possess an appropriate level of professional knowledge and skill to assess, diagnose and implement individual care plans for high risk patients. They will hold a clinical caseload which will include patients to be considered high risk due to conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis/ Connective tissue disorders, Diabetes, Peripheral Arterial Disease, Neuropathy and lower limb deformities leading to poor foot function.

As Head of Helpline and Clinics, you will provide operational and professional leadership across a large, highly experienced remote team of Admiral Nurses working throughout the UK.Leading four Deputy Leads and a wider team of around 70 nurses, you will be accountable for services delivered through our award‑winning Helpline, Live Chat and clinic services.
You will be a registered nurse with substantial experience of clinical operational management and leading large, complex clinical teams. You will understand what it takes to run high‑quality, responsive, remote services at scale, balancing workforce planning, resources, budgets, governance and day‑to‑day operational demands while keeping the needs of families at the heart of decisions.

You will have significant experience of practicing as an Admiral Nurse or dementia specialist nurse and previously worked with people who have dementia and their family carers and supporters in different settings.
Strong communication skills are essential, as is a proven track record of providing high standards of clinical leadership and specialist nursing support. You should be adept at providing clinical advice, clinical supervision, and advocating for family carers.
