Are you an experienced paediatric dietitian looking for a new challenge?
We have an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to join our team as a Paediatric Dietitian at SASH. The post is part time (18.75 hours) and permanent. You will be joining a highly motivated, experienced and friendly team of adult and paediatric dietitians and dietetic assistants.
You will work as the core paediatric diabetes dietitian with a specialist dietetic team of 0.5 senior paediatric diabetes dietitian and 0.4 paediatric diabetes assistant. You will also work closely with the Paediatric and Transition Diabetes MDT at SASH which includes specialist paediatricians, nurses, administration and a psychologist as well as access to youth workers and play therapists.
You will need to support the wider paediatric dietetic team and this role will occasionally require general paediatric dietetic work as the service requires for example covering the cystic fibrosis caseload.
This post will work with inpatients and outpatients as SASH hold the local service for paediatric diabetes and there may be travel to Crawley and Horsham Hospitals as required, as well as school and home visits.
We have an established CPD and Journal Club programme in Dietetics, as well as access for the paediatric team to local supervision and national networks. You will be encouraged and supported to continue your CPD including in specialist areas.
