Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist (Band 6) for CAMHS/LD. The post is a 22.5-hour-per-week, fixed-term appointment (6 months) with potential for secondment. Based in Redruth, a pro rota salary of £39,959–£48,117 per year is offered, with weekdays working.

You will join an experienced team delivering multidisciplinary assessment and intervention; opportunities include clinical supervision, research, and CPD within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• BSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with Health Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience in learning disabilities, autism, or neurodevelopmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic assessments for children with learning disabilities.
• Work autonomously with an individual caseload from assessment to discharge.
• Provide advice and consultation to colleagues and other agencies.
• Engage in governance, research and audit activities.
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support planning approaches.
• Contribute to service development within the CAMHS/LD team.
