Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior band 6 Occupational Therapist to join an established and expanding team working in acute and rehabilitation services. The Trust is a well-known healthcare service provider in London.

Role Overview:

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will benefit from peer support and supervision programs, as well as access to multi-professional clinical specialists across various areas. You will have opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills and knowledge.

You will be encouraged to participate in service development, research, and audits, and to supervise students and junior staff, enhancing your teaching and leadership skills.

The multidisciplinary therapy team provides high-quality services seven days a week. You will participate in a weekend rota, working approximately once every six weeks, with compensatory rest days.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating a range of conditions.
• Ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation and discharge plans.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in a clinical environment.
• Delegation skills for supporting staff.
• Experience with general assessment and intervention with patients in physical settings (e.g., medical, surgical, trauma, orthopedics, neurology).
