More detail about the role

The Rheumatology service currently runs multiple outpatient clinics and provides an extensive service to Rheumatology patients in the South West. The service offers Consultant-led and Nurse-led clinics in North Devon District Hospital and secondary care settings such as South Molton & Bideford Hospitals.

The successful post holder would ideally have several years of Rheumatology experience and a special interest in supporting and developing the Rheumatological Nursing service. They will be able to run patient clinics independently, providing high-quality, evidence-based care. You will work closely with all members of the MDT and assist the Band 7 Rheumatology Nurse in service development.

We are open to considering a Band 5 nurse with a specific interest in rheumatology who is willing to learn and work towards a Band 6 role in a progression post. Academic qualifications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience is expected.

Working Pattern: Between 08:00 and 18:00 over 5 days.
