Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services in the UK is seeking a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team, focusing on high‑quality autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people, delivered through NHS-funded referrals and private pathways.

You will conduct face‑to‑face observations, remote parent interviews, participate in MDT discussions, provide feedback, and produce comprehensive reports, with hybrid in‑person and remote work and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Minimum 1 year of experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
• Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
• In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD.
• Trained in diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
• Excellent time management and caseload organisation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions.
• Well-developed written language skills used to produce high-quality clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians as needed.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports including diagnostic formulations.
• Work to meet service KPIs.
• Provide clinical supervision where applicable.
• Travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments (hybrid only).
