Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services in the UK seeks a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to support comprehensive assessments for autism and ADHD in children and young people. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based evaluations across NHS-funded referrals and private pathways.

You will contribute to diagnostic reports, provide clear feedback to families, and work within a hybrid model that combines in-person and remote assessments with supportive supervision and digital

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England.
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
• Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
• Trained and experienced in diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conducting face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
• Conducting remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
• Participating in peer MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Delivering clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Producing accurate clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations, with support of smart tools.
• Meeting service KPIs and providing clinical supervision where applicable.
• Able to travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments (hybrid role).
