Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire for a long-term contract. The role is fully onsite with a 37-hour week across a 9-day fortnight, providing specialist training and exposure to a world-class test environment.

The hourly rate ranges from £27.73 to £29.43, with commutable locations listed. You will maintain complex mechanical plant and fuel systems, read schematics, and work from drawings.

Qualifications

• Must have a time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical maintenance background and safe use of workshop tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance across specialist plant and facility systems in a world-class test environment.
• Fully onsite in Peterborough, working with engineers, technicians and contractors.
• 37 hours per week on a 9-day fortnight with typical start around 07:30.
