Job summary

King Ecgbert School in Sheffield is seeking a specialist learning support assistant (autism) to join the integrated resource team. You will deliver high-quality, personalised interventions both in and out of the classroom, aimed at maximising pupil progress within the resource setting.

You will work with students with autism, support the curriculum, and collaborate with colleagues, parents and carers to foster consistent, inclusive education for all learners.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with students with autism and related conditions.
• Knowledge of autism curriculum to support pupils through interventions.
• Ability to work with parents, carers and families and establish productive relationships.
• Ability to work with colleagues from all subject areas.
• Well organised, flexible and able to use own initiative.

The role

Working within an agreed framework of supervision and direction, the successful candidates will deliver high quality, personalised interventions both in and out of the classroom setting, maximising the progress of pupils within the integrated resource.
