Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide evidence-based nutrition and dietetic care to patients within a specialist field. You will act as an expert practitioner and as a knowledge resource for patients and other health care professionals, including GPs and Consultants.

The post requires HCPC registration, excellent teamwork and strong communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. NHS Lanarkshire values diversity and inclusion in its workforce.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with HCPC registration.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to work with others in a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver evidence-based nutrition care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Act as expert practitioner selecting, assessing, planning and delivering evidence based, nutrition and dietetic care to patients within a specialist field.
• Serve as a source of expertise for patients, other health care professionals, GPs and Consultants.
