Employment Details:
  • Type: Permanent (full-time and part-time options)
  • Hours: Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm)
  • Location: Oxford
  • Salary: £38,480 – £42,640 per annum + Car allowance or Company Car + Shift enhancements

Are you passionate about providing exceptional chemotherapy care? Join a leading global health and life science provider, with a strong presence across the UK, known for delivering high standards of patient-centred care.

In this role, you will collaborate with designated hospitals and health centres to educate and support patients undergoing Oncology/Chemotherapy treatments within the Oxford area. You will ensure services are delivered in a patient-centric, customer-focused manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake clinical assessment of patient needs
  • Conduct training and education to enable patients and/or carers to safely self-medicate relevant medications
  • Provide ongoing support through support programmes, including telephone, clinic-based, and home visits, according to protocols
  • Assess patient’s home environment for suitability of home IV oncology treatment, ensuring safety and security

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with NMC registration
  • Chemotherapy delivery qualification
  • Experience administering oncology medication in hospital or community settings
  • Experience in clinical assessments and sub-cutaneous injections
  • Experience managing IV devices and therapies
  • Skills in clinical assessment, IV injections, cannulation, and phlebotomy
