Job summary

Pendle View Primary School in Colne is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2B to support pupils with a wide range of needs within a specialist setting. The role is class-based across one of our 12 classes, including two intensive support provision classes.

You will contribute to pupils' educational development, help with communication, self-help and physical development, and benefit from a comprehensive induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• English Language Level 2 or equivalent.
• Maths Level 2 or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post.
• Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age.

Responsibilities

• Work as a class-based Teaching Assistant in one of the school’s 12 classes.
• Support pupils’ educational development, communication, self-help, and physical skills.
• Participate in a comprehensive training programme as part of induction.
• Salary is pro-rated for term-time hours.
