Woodlands School, part of Bourne Education Trust, seeks a Teaching Assistant Level 1- Special Needs for its Esher satellite provision. Based at Cranmere Primary School, 29h15m/week, term-time, with occasional travel across East Surrey and Leatherhead. Salary PS3 £16,959 p.a.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent qualification).
• Ability to demonstrate safeguarding of children.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching provision under the direction of the class teacher.
• Facilitate learning for individual pupils and groups with high expectations.
• Prepare and deliver intervention programmes, adjusting activities as needed.
• Promote development of pupils' social and emotional needs.
